To make a quality well fitting and functioning denture or partial denture we need to evaluate your bone and tissue condition first. We have to understand your desires and expected outcomes. We do this with X-rays, images, and feeling the gums, cheeks and muscles of the mouth. We also spend time discussing what you want (we listen to you), we show and discuss tooth colors and shapes with you as well.

We feel it is important that you understand everything we recommend for you. Part of that is making sure we go over all the costs, insurance coverage, and payment options. Before you leave our office we want to know that you understand everything and feel comfortable with our office and your care.

If you have teeth then we can do what we call an immediate denture where 1 visit is to plan your treatment and take molds of your mouth then the next visit in 1-2 weeks is to remove teeth and deliver the denture resulting in 2 visits. There is a reline of the denture same day in office usually done 6-8 months later as the bone and tissue remodel. The reline is an additional procedure and fee.

If you have no teeth then it is a conventional denture. For a conventional denture we 1. plan your treatment and take a mold for the denture, measure the bite, chose colors of the teeth etc. 2. we deliver the denture 1-2 weeks later. Occasionally we may make a wax try in for people needing to see the teeth shape and color first.

All dentures have a period of getting used to just like a new pair of shoes. We make all the adjustments needed to make sure your denture fits and feels good.

All the molds, and evaluations, designing the dentures and the follow-up visits to make changes if needed are included in a denture price.

We also do as many adjustments as necessary to make sure your denture fits and feels good. That is all part of the denture price.

For immediate dentures a hard reline will be necessary at about 6-8 months later and that is not included. It is a separate fee.
